Because of that, it took the installer almost all day to do the work. That is not a negative, merely a statement of fact. Without the icy crud he had to chip out, the install would have been finished in half the time. The installer made certain the gutters were properly sloped for drainage and cleaned up the area when he was finished. I would recommend LeafFilter to anyone who wants to keep their gutters free from leaves and other debris. I am not going to miss having little maple trees sprouting in the gutters in the spring. Update: May 29, 2019 With all the rainy weather we’ve had lately and the maple trees putting out their seeds, the gutters have gotten a good work-out. No seeds in the gutters, no clogs in the downspouts, and no overflowing gutters. So far, so good.

Incredible gutter system. We've lived here over 48 years along the Wisconsin River and have many kinds of trees including Oak, Maple, Locust and White pine to name the most. We have tried 3 other gutter helmet systems and found none worked 100%, especially for pine needles until we installed the LeafFilter system some 6 years ago. This system really works and you won't have to get on a ladder ever again to clean gutters. We just regret we didn't do it sooner.
